For Parents

The most basic statement that can be made about parent and family involvement in their children’s education is that when it happens, everyone benefits. Research has conclusively shown parent involvement in education benefits students, parents, teachers and schools.

The Technology Cascade & Training program targets underserved parents of students at urban public schools. These parents must attend basic computer training before the computer will be installed in their home. Concepts For Adaptive Learning has commitment from local collaborative partners to work collectively in the implementation of this program.

The goal of the Technology Cascade & Training program is to improve the academic achievement and lack of accessible technology of underserved elementary school children, by providing parents with computers and training so parents can be involved and help their children with education at home.

Once the computers are installed in the homes, our aim is to increase the amount of parent involvement with helping their children with their education.
