Launch at John Barry School in Meriden, Wednesday, January 25, 2012
John Barry School

For the past 4 months CfAL has been training parents from the Roger Sherman School in Meriden. Through January, 35 parents, from the Meriden Family Zone, received training and a refurbished computer. We are pleased that we have been able to help these families improve their children's education and quality of life.

For the next few months, we will focus our efforts on parents who have children attending the John Barry School.

We are excited about having the opportunity to work with the staff, principal, and students at John Barry School, as the students progress on their path of life-long learning.

Basic Computer Training Class, Sunday, January 08, 2012

Our parent computer training classes take place in Bridgeport, Hartford, Meriden, New Haven and Bridgeport, and are in both English and Spanish. Classes are 3 weeks long and are given in English on Mondays and Wednesdays, and classes in Spanish take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please see the schedule below for the DECEMBER 2011 thru JUNE 2012 dates.

You May Be Able to Help

Our parent computer program continues to be a big success, with great demand.

Since July 2003, CfAL has trained and given computers to more than 2,000 families, living in Bridgeport, Hartford, Meriden, New Haven and Waterbury. CfAL is in constant need of computers and you may be able to help.
