Mr. Farah has worked in the field of information technology for the past 18 years, in positions of increasing responsibility. He has worked for Buffalo Specialty Products, Emery Worldwide, Pine Tree Software, PRT Group and most recently for Unilever Global Infrastructure Organization-North America (GIO-NA). His range of information technology experience covers programming, systems analysis, senior client consulting, project management and management. Mr. Farah has managed development projects and personnel ranging in value from $500,000 to $18,000,000, and consisting of 2 to 42 full-time employees.
He has designed, developed and managed numerous projects ranging from software programs, financial and manufacturing management information systems to complex computer networks. He has prepared training documentation and provided the training to data center personnel to aid in the turnover of new systems. He has coordinated with different levels of technical and non-technical staff to gather information to produce policies and procedures.
Mr. Farah is currently a member of Unilever GIO-NA’s Board, and is the Director of Service Development for delivering new technology to Unilever North America and worldwide. In addition, he has responsibility for their Project Office services, which manages a portfolio of 125 projects, with an $18,000,000 budget.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
