Mr. Auerbach has been a practicing attorney for more than 40 years. For the past 15 years, he has been a solo practitioner with an office in New Haven, where he specializes in business entities, estate administration and arbitration.
In addition to his work in the legal profession, Mr. Auerbach is passionate about helping people improve their lives. He has served in numerous positions of leadership, including: Assistant Scoutmaster, Regional Advisory Council member of the Greater New Haven State Technical College, President of the Racebrook School PTA, Chairman of the Republican Town Committee for the Town of Orange, and Treasurer of the New Haven Jaycees. He was a Chairman of the Board of Jewish Education of Greater New Haven; a founder of and Director and Legal Chairman of the Orange Synagogue Center in Orange; Director of the Beth-El Keser Israel Synagogue in New Haven; Chairman of Connecticut Valley Jewish National Fund; and President of the Southern Connecticut State of Israel Bonds Campaign.
Mr. Auerbach has served the Connecticut Bar Association and the Connecticut Bar Foundation in a wide range of important positions.
