Jeff Solomon has spent 12 years in public accounting. He graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Bentley College. He is currently a Principal with UHY Advisors N.E., LLC. He is a certified public accountant in the state of Connecticut and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. Jeff has extensive experience managing, conducting, reviewing and analyzing financial information for various industries, including manufacturing, construction, financial institutions, Tribal entities, and service organizations. His experiences include providing an array of services, including test program design and test implementation to public companies to assist them with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, providing auditing services to public companies, and assisting in merger and acquisitions procedures.
In addition to his work in the accounting profession, Jeff is also passionate about supporting education initiatives and business developments in New Haven and the surrounding area. He is currently serves on the boards of the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce and Greater New Haven Literacy Coalition. He previously served as the President and Treasurer of the New Haven Network for Public Education and as an advisory board member for Stone Academy. Jeff is a New Haven Business Times Forty Under Forty recipient and a community volunteer, including his participation with Woodbridge Fathers’ Baseball League.
